Welcome to Shrooms and Blooms!

Shrooms and Blooms was born from my love of nature especially flowers and mushrooms. I bought my little farm in West Virginia with the idea that I could sustain myself and a few others off just my land using a permaculture approach. Within a few years I was growing and foraging a lot of flowers and gourmet edible and medicinal  mushrooms for my own enjoyment. I'd like to share that enjoyment with others. In keeping with my permaculture philosophy I'm growing native wildflowers along with cultivated showstoppers to develop unique bespoke bouquets that celebrate both the wild and the cultured  cut flowers melded together.  As I plan the growing areas I'm mindful of native species and their roles in the natural ecosystem. Instead of growing as much as I can I'll be leaving areas of my farm untamed to ensure the biodiversity pollinators and other critter count on remains.  Future expansions include mushroom supplement production and event space.
